Out now – WRSE podcast on Grand Union Canal Transfer

We’ve published our first ever podcast, the start of a series of regular episodes exploring our regional plan for South East England.

The Grand Union Canal Transfer is the focus of our inaugural edition, as we find out about this ambitious scheme to transport water from the Midlands to our region, using the canal network.

We spoke to key figures from Affinity Water and the Canal & River Trust, who are working with Severn Trent Water to deliver the project, to discuss the range of benefits it would deliver for customers, the environment, canal users and local communities.
